Software :
Facilities for Software Development Firms and Other IT enabled Services:
SEZ India provides high-speed datacom and Internet facilities to the software exporters from the zone. A state of the art Satellite Earth Station is located within the zone complex. The Government of India offer a liberal package of incentives/concessions to the software industry.
Policy provisions for software units :
The software units under SEZ scheme enjoy the following benefits-
- No minimum investment criteria.
- Net Foreign Exchange earning is only positive.
- Exports can be in any form including export of professional services.
- Minimum documentation and customs procedures.
- All transactions to be done on self-certification basis.
Infrastructure and other facilities offered :
Built up space of any size is readily available in the Standard Design Factory (SDF) Complexes.
- Backup power supply as standby arrangement.
- Good quality power, water at reasonable rates.
- Telephone, Fax facilities on out of turn basis.
- Certification of Softex forms, free of cost.
Developed Infrastructure :
- Fully developed plots of varying sizes from ½ an acre and above.
- Ready-built space in Standard Design Factories (SDF) complexes.
- Nominal lease rentals with liberal concession in lease rentals for early start up.
Power water and other facilities :
- Dedicated 33/11 KV sub-station provides good quality and uninterrupted power supply.
- Abundant water is provided from the nearby reservoir.
- Telecom connections on out-of-turn basis.
- In-house customs facilities to ensure speedy clearance of goods.
